Not sure about how this came out...
The first moment I laid paint to paper, I felt like the paper was fighting me. Like I was painting on the wrong side of the sheet or something. Not sure if i want to keep it as is, ink it, or just plain start over. I guess a lot of it's going to depend on how it's mate, a pic of Ebin in full armor, comes out.

While it does look a little looser, I actually like it and think it came out in an interesting style. But if it's not what you intended, then obviously that's frustrating.
Personally, I say don't give up just yet unless you think it's completely hopeless. Perhaps you can take it in a direction you hadn't intended?
