I have this idea for a fantasy story with chakats. So far, only members of the ChakatHeaven Yahoo group have read any of it, but I've picked up a few pieces of artwork to help me flesh out the ideas. Here we see the three central characters of my "travelogue" introduction into what I'm calling the Craters setting. From left to right there's: Chakat Starpath. Primarily a mage, shi's still a chakat and should not be underestimated. Hir coat is supposed to be a bluish black with lots of small spots resembling the night sky -- or freckles. Conrad. My story's token human and usually the reader's perspective. His hobby is/was "world building" -- the imagining and describing of fictional worlds and the critiquing of others' creations. Chakat Whiptail. Primarily a bodyguard for Starpath (i.e. a fighter), this Siamese-patterened chakat has a personal interest in Conrad.
