okay this is non-furry but I am trying to advertise it on my sites so forgive me ahead of time. Will scrap eventually.
So I've been working on these pencil folio books to sell at the convention in November. Each one has it's own theme. Mainly it's for practice and to try and make some extra money,and to expand my portfolio. Overall, just a challenge for myself.
Mori-Girl is a budding fashion in Japan that I fell in love with (lol. i do that randomly). So this book is art inspired by that.
The book is (as the ad says) 11 pencil sketches. The book itself is handmade. The art is a high quality print on 25lb paper. For now it's staple bound, I may move on to saddle stitch but so far it's keeping together incredibly well.
And it's $4 so, very cheap xD

Yay~ I'm only going to make about 10 of each of these since there won't be that high of a demand for them. Maybe a compilation book later if I decide to.

Wow cool! Was it hard to put together this folio series? and that you are putting together others, that is so awesome! :D You're really on a roll with art books now! dude
I'm not really knowledgeable of fashions, so I dont really know what mori is all about, but it looks cute from this.

the only hard thing about it is actually getting started on it, because I thought "ohman that would be so cool to make a folio series!" but then actually sitting down and doing it is hard. Because then you realize you have to come up with ideas for things to draw for each one xD I tend to do that a lot...haha
But the end result is SO worth it. I'm really proud of it, and once I get started it gets easier to make more and want to continue making more. I've found that I really LOVE making books. Making concepts for them, creating content, and then putting together a final product. Only problem is that I'm just one person so it takes more time xD but yus! I will be doing those other ones, I'm hoping that I can keep doing them a few at a time in the future. We'll see how it goes <3
