I guess I'm kinda lucky that my parents never avoided it. They gave me age-appropriate answers, but they never tried to avoid the subject. And they told me that I should always bring any questions to them. Sex became a subject that was not taboo or evil, but I still grew up with a respect for it that led me to wait until I was married.

Parents who avoid the subject or pussy-foot around it are really doing their children a disservice.

Heh. My parents were a lot better. All they did is gave me some book about adolesence and stuff. :P
