For today's Daily Doodle, let's do some more Fallout Equestria because I can.
For our RP shenanigans, Umbreow got this one here for our own made up stable, Stable 47.
A mess of a place that does not hold best mental health care system. They just call anything you are suffering from for "stable fever" and drugs you up all the same. If yer not reacting well to the standard drugs and keep being an issue for others around you, you end up in a straight jacket "on vacation" in a padded cell until more docile.
Surging here picked the meds over cell any day, but ain't best solution for the long term. But oh well.
Stable 47's experiment was to only provide tickets to traders and business ponies, then lock them up in the Stable with no goods, no business and no currency to do trade with. To see if they could put their ambitious energy and know-how to other use.
Instead they hacked into the AI running the stable, Notesworth, and convinced it to allow a barter system focused on a purely digital currency named Value. Constantly displayed on screens anywhere you go, so anypony can see what their and others own levels of Value is, for when making trades. To ensure they each got enough Value to pass around.
200 years later, the Stable is half empty of its original numbers, parts of the lower floors left to fall apart, with a class system putting huge difference between ponies and what accommodations they got access to.
Low level ponies with barely any Value can try make ends meets by shaving their coat and mane to sell to those refining the hair to produce new things like fashion and pillows. Anything not restricted by Notesworth, can be bartered with to spend or earn Value.
