I have to say tho: I've never had any "special" accessories/clothing in my youth because of various reasons (for one being bullied half of my childhood and teen years which pretty much destroyed my mental well-being & confidence) but I think I'm now reaching the point and age where I just want to...experience things I couldn't have before and be free.

So wholesome to see I'm not alone when it comes to things like this. "Late bloomer" here too and just had to get ear piercings after all these years, mainly because of enjoying stuff like vkei and gotchic style of clothing( without forgetting the boost this OC gave me ^~^) . Such a great thing you're feeling more confident too and are able to live on as you see fit! ;-;
