Here is a ref sheet for Glaurung and, if you seen older pictures of Glaurung, Shiro changed quite a bit. XD;
For starters, his cape is now a scarf and his clothes are now torn up. I confess that I like the torn clothing bit since it fits with who he is. I am disappointed with the lack of cape.
And before you ask why I didn't ask Shiro to fix that mistake, two reasons. One is that, when he was drawing it, it was very late and I have to get up early the next day, so I didn't caught that when I approve the sketch stage. The second reason is that, well, I can be too nice, especially for a picture already done and when I already approved the final version.
But don't worry. The cape will return. It'll just be on vacation. ;)
