This is Day 7 of my attempt at becoming a great furry artist as quickly as possible.
I think this picture came out pretty okay for what it is: Drawn entirely in MS paint with a mouse (it was then compressed with Photoshop because fur-affinity refused to take my 9000x5000 image =P). From left to right shows a little bit of my process...
I actually found it a LOT easier to draw with a mouse than a pencil on paper... Paper is so limiting. If you hit the edge of the paper, you're f'd, if you disproportion the character to the background, you're f'd, if you make an error and you pressed too hard into the paper to erase it, you're f'd.
There's so much more freedom in the digital world... Reminds me why I hate traditional media so much. Still. If I want to be a great furry artist, I must master these weaknesses... -_-
On that note, I want you to grab a baseball bat and chase me down the street as you scream at all the imperfections in my work; I WANT feedback on my art.
EDIT: Boosted the levels in Photoshop for easier viewing.

Just took a look at it.
I've been going nuts trying to figure out how to do frontal views. All other tutorials love to avoid teaching how to do a frontal view. Most tutorials teach you to treat the anthro head like a sphere with a rectangular prism on the end, which works great for side and angled shots, but terrible for head-on shots.
You tutorial took that concept out, and as soon as I followed that advice, I was IMMEDIATELY able to sketch a less awkward front view.
Thanks so much Neex. I'm off to practice that a bit now.

I'm glad I helped!!
Here's some more sketches by me if you wanted to study them or something:
