History: Daryl was born in Venice and lived there for seven years with his mother. They moved back to the states when Daryl’s mother started dating her boyfriend, Derek. After dating for a year, the couple moved in together. It was at this point, Derek started showing his true, lazy colors. Daryl’s mom works double shifts at the local supermarket and Daryl work part time at the local gaming and hobby shop “Drake’s Emporium” run by his friend Cassandra Drake and her family. Daryl also works at the local megaplex movie theater on weekends with his friend Darrius. Derek spends his days drinking and playing poker on the web. Daryl hates his mother’s boyfriend and repeated urges his mom to move out. She is reluctant to do this after living so long with one person. Daryl knew from early on that he was gay. It wasn’t he wanted to be a girl or any thing like that, he just knew he liked guys. Derek hates gay people and “attacks” Daryl whenever his mom isn’t in earshot. Daryl is a good student, but not super popular. He has been able to build a decent group of friends over the years and is very close with them. Daryl has yet to date and is too nervous to start.
