The Royal WarKnights are an elite fighting force of Raptor Riders that specialize in dangerous operations, and are considered the special forces of the Royalist military. Its members are advanced super-soldiers augmented with Bionic Energy, giving them better speed, agility, and heightened senses for better spatial awareness. Such attributes allow these elite soldiers to better pilot Robot Raptors and are much stronger than the Royal Marine Guards or the Security Forces of FerTek Robotics. Because of this, WarKnights are deployed for high risk missions, or for its members to take command of the standard forces in the area.

Many young people in Ferreria hope to become members of the WarKnights, not just because of their elite status, but because many would like the power to defend themselves against the dangers of modern day Ferreria. On paper, any species could join the WarKnights but due to the systematic racism of the Royal Alliance society, the WarKnights prefer to recruit felines into their ranks, particularly the cat species. This means that in practice, other species such as dogs are unlikely to join their ranks.
