But this kingdom had its own trump card up its sleeve. When we got close enough the nature itself warned us with thunderclaps and a few lightnings. Our advance has slowed down. Most of us weren't warriors. For many, this was the first war. And then, with another lightning strike, the heavens opened and we saw an angel. He had wings! He was giant- much larger than a common man! Armed with a sword. And it seemed like he was emitting light! This was the last thing I saw before I dropped my weapon. I ran away without looking back.
