It's day 2 of my 4 day weekend. So far I've been doing a lot of eating and a lot of life drawing outdoors. I'll likely spend more time tomorrow doing digital art at my computer. I have several pieces that I need to finish off or at least work on. It was nice to get outside with the nice weather. I now must eat some ice cream and take a bubble bath maybe.

I particularly like the way the ear turned out on this piece. I don't do many portraits so every portrait I do is pretty experimental :p I generally don't enjoy doing them as much because much of my interest comes from drawing the body. And when the subject is more focused, the nuance and errors in anatomy and painting are more obvious(in my opinion, at least). Priscilla clearly needs a shear. I wonder what mischief she is thinking about...
