I know that feeling... struggling with real life just sorta sucking right now, and the general loss of interest and motivation to draw kinda removes the one thing I did to chill, you know?

On the other hand, at least some interesting art comes out of it sometimes. It's an interesting change of pace from the overly cheery stuff I post fairly often tbh.

Yeah depression and anxiety suck, but sometimes some interesting art comes from it. Maybe I do need to draw more melancholy, moody, and otherwise "emo" shit lol.

using art to vent is so much fun, plus it really does produce a lot of interesting artwork!
I browse it sometimes and it's really interesting stuff

For real, and sometimes it's fun to just draw moody shit in general. I guess I never know how to respond to it, though. I post anything moody and people will be concerned, which is cool of them, but sometimes the character is just sad or lonely because of stuff in their stories or I just wanted to draw sad critters.

I feel the same way when I look at a lot of vent art, like, should I offer sympathy? Or comment on how badass it looks if it's angry, or how well it conveys those feelings of sadness? Is it the character's emotion, or the artist's emotion expressed through the character? If it's someone I've never chatted with before should I even try to start conversation if they're in a bad mood?
