I have the same problem with characters in the part of names, omg :D
my main character (Desert) got her name after one role-playing group (based on the books of warrior cats by Erin Hunter), where she was my character-cat, not a fox :D
and the second MC got a name after I watched one anime, where the silver fox was called that way (and my second character is not a fox and not silver :"D). The logic in names is a strange thing, but the main thing is that you like it as the owner of the character :З

Oh I've heard of the warrior cat series, I feel I need to read them one of these days. Hehe yeah sometimes a name just fits even if you heard it from an odd place. I agree!

Zara was a name I got from a name generator online after over a 100 names :P My other character cinnamon I came up myself, it just seemed so right for her :) I'm using a name generator for this new character as well. And then Rust (a fox) was a name the artist I adopted the character from had in mind.

I started drawing in digital only after this role! ^^" it seems to be children's books (Warrior Cats), but they capture many non-childish topics!
Aaaand a name generator is a great idea, by the way, when there are no ideas! :D And you can choose if you feel a suitable name.

Yeah there are lots of them so I try a few and create a list of names to narrow down unless one really strikes me as the one :)
