Kleo the Flower Girl - Background

My second attempt at coloring through some of my older commissions. I'm not as happy with this one. No offense to the artist, but the lack of closed lines, some of the random trailing lines that tend to happen with sketches.... the odd lack of pupils, ech. Also frustrating on my part is that I couldn't figure out good ways to add back some of her details like the streak down her chest or her hair highlights.
Beyond that... yeah I just ran a rustic village common use pic through a cartoonizer program. Also not as happy with it, the brightness and colours... she just doesn't pop as much, I don't know. What do y'all think?
