This was a tutorial request from a few months ago. I was lazy and didn't get to it until now. *Is shot*
Oh well, better late than never, right?
This tutorial goes over the basics of using a light source for your drawings. Granted, it's not the best tutorial, but I hope it helps.
I start off with drawing out the background first. The background usually denotes the light source(s) and will help keep your picture looking like everything belongs.
If you need to, on a separate layer, draw those light source lines. Circle your light source and draw lines coming off of it, where it would hit your subject. Doing so will help keep the lighting together!
If you have any more questions, just ask.

Though, I'm actually self-targeting of an artist it may have been my other taste in this tutorial when something that I have to draw something from my future ideas.
I'd hope about somebody will draw like that for to be a better artist like us through, It's actually for their art lessons.
You'd never have been failed at paint, keeping up at work, kuni!
