Maggie had been stressed out all week, so this wolf decided to hypnotize herself into temporarily letting go of those thoughts.
She visualized each of the things placing stress on her as a single bubble on a roll of bubble wrap, then she pressed a sharp claw into the first one.
The pressurized plastic cushion grew more and more taut, until...
*Pop!*
...the pressure was released.
*Pop!*
Everything she was worried about was released one by one into her gaseous pool of thought, swirling about.
*Pop!*
*Pop!*
*Pop!*
It took a while to collect her thoughts afterwards, but the experience was very therapeutic.
I lost the (only) pencil I brought with me to college, so here's something drawn without any sketch. Honestly, I think it turned out really well. I'm still not sure where that pencil ended up, haha.
This was sort of inspired by seeing listings for artificial/reusable bubble wrap made for people to fidget with.
