So I recently discovered and binged
valsalia 's excellent "Out-of-Placers," which I greatly enjoyed and heartily recommend if you enjoy a nice blend of twisted humor, earnest depictions of people trying to cope with unexpected life changes, and an unseemly interest in the life-cycle of bizarro stilt-rat things. And it occurred to me the other day that someone really, really needs to bring yinglets to life in puppet form, so they can be rendered in foam and fake fur and fulfill their natural role as "what happens when Jim Henson takes a hit of the brown acid by mistake." They'd have almost exactly the right manic, twitchy energy just by virtue of being marionettes, I tell you!
Sadly, I am neither a puppeteer nor much of a craftsman, but I submit to you my hastily-sketched thoughts on the construction of such a critter, in the hopes that my humble contribution may aid someone out there on the Internet in advancing the noble cause of yinglet puppet science.

LAM'd is good for a chuckle, but I really like the balance in OOPs between the comedic post-TF shenanigans, genuine thought put into what that experience would be like, and the character relationships surrounding the protagonist as (s)he tries to cope with all that. That's my kind of writing right there :)
