here is the reference to my cakehound, vooks. he was given to me by a friend where, i thought of a bit of his species.

there are some changes from this original picture. the main thing is that instead of front feet, cakehounds have long hooves, like icing spreaders.

cakehounds are magical, almost unicorn like creatures who have very soft bites, their mouths have no teeth, but have light serration on them. the reason for this is that they live in communities where they create pasteries and sweets. things they can eat easily.
each cakehound has it's own special dessert that it makes, and while they can magic ingredients out of thin air, they love to bake using regular ingredients as well. they can speak and are very friendly, offering to make you food in turn for housing them.

if you compliment a cakehound on their food, it is the highest compliment you can ever pay them. some melt in joy, others bake endless treats as thanks, or some might feed you until you can't fit anytyhing else inside.
fair warning about cakehounds. though their foods and sweet may look normal, they can have some... impacting results, so be sure to ask first, or eat at your own risk.
