This was way cute... but to darned short!

*Laughs.* Oh, I knooooow! The first draft I wrote was even shorter, and I forced myself to lengthen it as much as I could without ruining it, but I'm still disappointed in how short it was, especially since it was for a trade! I'm planning on surprising Spits with another Christmasy story this Christmas (shhh, it's a secret! ;) ).

This is a very cute vignette. I couldn't help but think of Calvin and Hobbes, what with the sledding and the worried tiger. I love the dynamic between the two, I think you brought the characters out well. Good job, and I hope to see more writing from you in the future!

When I was thinking up ideas for the trade, I happened to look at a Calvin and Hobbes book that was lying near me on the floor. Naturally, I decided to pay homage, and I even included a reference to the strip in something CW says to Spits. ^^

It was most definitely a reference. ;) Let's just say that, while in official canon none of my characters know any of the characters in Calvin and Hobbes, there's nothing stopping any of them from acting like they do.

A fine fragment! I'm not saying fragments are bad, though - some of the best stories are just that, clips of longer works. Heck, all stories could be considered like that. But yeah, this one's cute 'n' comedic. It's kinda like a chuckle. Nice! ^.^

Re-reading that, I can kinda hear it coming across a bit harsh. I don't mean to be. I enjoyed reading it, and its sweetness made me smile.
