Getting a little fanciful now. After figuring out how to make a flamingo still look like Olive Oyl (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43390244/ ) in art based on that weird Popeye cartoon ( https://youtu.be/830KsuVDAO8?t=995 ) I started reaching out. So here's an attempt to make a Jeep that's recognizably Wimpy. Or a Wimpy that's recognizably a Jeep. I ... think it kind of works? It's a cheat to have him talking in English but what am I going to do, not use his ``Jones is the name ... I'm one of the Jones boys'' catchphrase that the comic strip thought was a killer line and the cartoons reasonably ignored.
I used the technical pen, that I've relied on a lot here, but reduced the brush size to about a third what I usually do, in the hopes that the picture might look better at FurAffinity's normal display sizes. I'm sure I'll hate it anyway.
Note the completely generic background that somehow I treat as better than just having the character hovering in space!
