More poetry. This time its a Pantoum about winter. I know it seems odd I'm uploading a poem about winter when its September but hey its winter somewhere in the world. The final version of this poem dates to 09/23/2011.

The Merry Side of Winter

Long ago in time past,
Brightly Shimmering snows,
Covered the land,
Muffled sounds, winter’s slumber.

Brightly shimmering snows,
Winter nipping at your nose, whispering wind,
Muffled sounds, winter’s slumber,
Enticing smells of warm, spiced tea and honey-coated scones.

Winter nipping at your nose, whispering winds,
Clear laughter of merry friends,
Enticing smells of warm spiced tea and honey-coated scones,
Clear skies of azure blue.

Clear laughter of merry friends,
Covered the land,
Clear skies of azure blue,
Long ago in time past.
