Meet my new character design from Captain N, TNG. In my comic Vectorman can use his nanotech superstructure to form into an armor suit for the other heroes, exponentially increasing their power. I had a lot of fun imagining a Vectarmored Sonic, I think the 2 jets attached to Sonic's body via the magnetic forces that hold Vectorman in his humanoid shape were a really nice touch.
