Meet Lovey's Uncle Vincent. He was a scientist/stage performer/would-be philanthropist,
kind of like "Buckaroo Banzai", except in the theater scene.

All of that came to an end when a lab accident not only ruined his face, he lost his job as
a scientist and a stage performer. In utter shame, he sold his old home, moved to Earth, and
bought an old mansion to hide from any prying eyes, living like a recluse... a phantom, so to
speak... a phantom kangaroo!

(I was really into the cryptid connections about kangaroos in odd places, and I also thought
it needed a play on words with the Phantom of the Opera.)
