I always wanted one, but everyone told me that they stink and bite...

:P the smell is due to owners using the paper liter and the ferrets natural musk. I use regular cat liter for mine with baking soda under the litter to absorb any odor and bathe them every week and a half with a spray of water melon mist on em. Their entire cage gets scrubbed every week and their poo pan gets bleached.

As for biting, mine will nibble when their playing but i've never been bitten.

I've always wanted to have a ferret. Maybe one day when I can dedicate the space and time to one I'll go for it XD They can be very fun to play with and walk XD I miss working with them a lot.
