This is an illustration for the first chapter of What It Means To Be Family, the story of the Winternight Clan: where they came from, how they came to be, and what trials they will face. Depicted here is the loving couple, Chakat Halostar (22), d/o Nebula & Dawnwave, and Ilka Moonspotter (18), in the early days of their blossoming relationship, back when they still lived on Earth. Halostar is working as a motorcycle mechanic in a Shop in Danvers, a decent-sized town in the Michigan Province of Greater North America, whilst Ilka is working as a barista at a coffee shop nearby. These two look so happy together. =^.^=
