The reason: we had a bad scare with Shia earlier this week. Without sharing too many ucky details, she couldn’t hold down food, and in the evening blood started to come up. The good news is, the cause isn’t something super scary, like cancer! She was impacted, (which untreated could have turned into a scary thing, so it’s good we took her in). It’s a chronic thing for her, and for whatever reason just became suddenly worse.
Normally I have a backup fund for emergencies, but cats don’t follow budgets, and between multiple vet visits this year, and putting out my own health fires, these last couple vet visits have urged me to act quickly. -Especially- if she needs to do a followup visit for this issue, or doesn’t bounce back well. So far, she’s recovering slower than expected, but she does seem to be getting better by the day!
Everything in this sale will be going straight to Shia care. Get some art to enjoy while helping the studio helper! It will be running today through September 18th, 30% off quite a few items including stickers, pendants, and prints.

Normally I feel weird about asking for tips/donations because I want to make sure everyone gets equal trade, but multiple people have asked, and I’ve been meaning to set a sort of tip jar up for a while now anyways! And of course, that goes towards Shia care as well. <3
