Though I do prefer the more traditional/mythological unicorn design, I decided that the modern girlier unicorn depiction that’s just a horse with a horn can exist in the Heart of Karis universe as well

This type of unicorn is often a hybrid between a large or standard-sized unicorn type and another Concordian equine. While not “true” unicorns, they have just about the same magical abilities and can interbreed with normal unicorns. They also tend to come in more of a variety of pastel or saturated colors than their naturally-colored purebred counterparts do
