Varöch, a gnu reptile hybrid, hails from a stargazing tribe of other bovine reptile hybrids. The tribe members are all highly intelligent and many of them were scribes and mathematicians. However, Varöch is a bit inattentive and easily gets distracted. But once they are focused on writing or math problems you can expect them to diligently and efficiently knock it all out blisteringly fast. Their English is also not the best and they tend to speak (when they do. they are very quiet and speak less than Kuruk) in very simple and short sentences or singular words -Think of Nanaue from The Suicide Squad but vastly more intelligent and without the vore-. It is hard to describe their personality as they don’t speak much but interactions with them are very pleasant for the most part and despite their size and strength, they are gentle when necessary. The assumption can be made that they are very friendly and kindhearted.
The tribe Varöch is from is heavily into astrology and the mystic arts. It is easy for them to get engrossed when learning or researching both topics and using the mystic arts comes naturally to them. If you're wondering about the eyes, it is a result of their heavy research into both topics and frequent stargazing that has caused them to be afflicted with what people call "starry eye", "astrologers’ eye", etc. There are many names for it, all equally valid. There is not much known about it and as far as the tribe and everyone else can tell, it has no positive or negative side effects -There could be side effects that just haven’t been noticed. It could even be why they are naturally in tune with mystic arts-.
A final note about Varöch is that they have a very high affinity for ice and water-related mystic arts since their birth. Many tribe members and people think it is due to their fur/hair color(s) however it is debated that it could be the other way around and their high affinity is what caused their hair and fur to be the color(s) that it is. Due to this high affinity, you can frequently see them primarily using ice and water-related arts and only rarely using other elemental types when necessary. Even with their affinities in mind, they have a normal body temperature however they can handle the cold and swim better than others. However, they also do not handle very high temperatures very well and will frequently be seen creating blocks of ice to cool off with.
