Morvala has been around for a very long time. Nearly 1,000 years since she began her experiments with one of those unusual gems that have led so much of my cast to impressive heights and power.

In that time, she's learned and seen much. Been given the opportunity to experience so much of the world and even realms beyond. Sometimes she's taught users of magic some of what she knows, sometimes she's gone years mostly isolated. Interacting with the world at large, but no longer attempting to effect it in any large ways like she did so very long ago.

Some of her possessions reminders of that time 1,000 years ago when she worked more closely and openly with old friends and companions to guide a young nation. Other possessions random artifacts of sentimental value she's collected over the millennia... A sword blessed by an unusual snake-like water goddess in a lake, the strange glowing gem that so greatly changed her life, the cloak she has worn for nearly her entire life, a picture of her favorite and greatest student who used the lessons she learned to accidentally become a goddess... Countless fond memories of her long life that on quiet nights Morvala will happily reminisce over.


This was a really fun picture to do of Morvala and her home! ^^
Not only was the shading a fun and interesting challenge that I just love the look of, but this was an opportunity to help further show some of who Morvala is and how she's actually got a connection with Jut too!
Amusingly this also led to my finally figuring out a way to establish how Jut is Lut and Argenvira's ancient ancestor.

I just love how cozy this feels ^^
