Where were you when the world stopped turning?
It's 20 years since that shocking, unimaginable day, and even though I'd never been to New York before then (I have since), I nearly cried when I turned on the television and found out the world had changed forever. I hope the recent events in Afghanistan aren't a sign of things to come and there's no repeats of that nightmare of a day.
I'm very sorry if any New Yorkers seeing this are put off by the relative inaccuracy of my rendition of their skyline. I'm only an artist of mean skill and I did my best. If anyone lost someone they knew that day, I don't exaggerate when I say my heart goes out to you even if you may be thousands of miles distant. That day touched me too.

It never did affected me at a personal area, but it did at the time my fortunes of my grandparents got cut in half from it.
I've listened to stories/testimony of people getting out of the building, it is horrible stuff.
Though nowadays, I am very angry that the justice has not vindicated to the victims and to those still living.
