~6.5" x 9". ink, pencil. 2003.
An older piece, made after developing the style and working technique from
all the Jadeclaw stuff, because it looks similar to me.
I liked the idea of a mouse standing in as a priestess to the Minoan Snake Goddess,
because what fur doesn't love a visual pun?
I recalled this piece, because in the background, the decoration presages the
fish paintings I made recently. Which I only now realized; and so everything
connects, and nothing is lost.
Also, I wouldn't even know what to do with a prisma marker if I picked one up
now. I used to lean on those joints hard. I still have my markers from
this time in a big picnic cooler and I don't know what to do with them.
If any of you are local and want a couple hundred let me know :P Half are
probably still good.

I would definitely take the prismas, but I'm far away. Apparently you can inject alcohol solvent into the tips and revive them sometimes, I haven't tried yet though.
I guess it's good to hear that you don't use them anymore - right now I feel like they're the only medium I am any good at, but for some reason, not sure why, I feel like they are a crutch and I should be learning real paints. I guess if you have stopped using them, it means you prefer real paints, and I really should force myself to learn.
I also love how you've drawn and inked her pose.
