I found this decade old dinosaur lurking on my hard drive. Sooo many anatomical errors, but this was also so fun to draw.
All the puppeteers and performers with characters tell me how sometimes the character has a life of its own. I thought it might be cute to portray that going one step further.
I believe this was done with marker and colored pencil. And also before Gen learned the value of proper line weight.

Hehehehehehehehe, Ok i wanna set the record straight on this, What it is on the whole "Life of their own" comment, is we get so in charecter that half the time just like any performance and like suiting, We tend to get into fights with the puppets........ Even the guests we have on the show here in ohio we have had that happen.
It's more like when we make a personality for them, we put too much feelings into it and well, An Asshole is born so to speak, lol. Hell me and JR from FPS have our own ferrets named Poink (JR) and P2 or Poink 2 (Me), and he's even said that theirs times when we get so behind the charecter we invision exactly how their responces are we accually hear the voices we made for them talking back at us.
For one example, Take Jeff Dunham, and his Crew of mayhem, they get into arguments with his guitarest friend and he interacts with them as if their real people. I's just how we put so emotion into them and so on that they do in some ways "Have a life of their own" and we perform that every time we put them to life. Hell i had some roomies laughing at me cause i was talking in my room at AC, i was alone, And all i was staring at was my freaking fursuit head and such sitting on a chair as i was getting ready to suit.
I guess in a way, puppets and Fursuits are similar to an aspect, and i don't mean as in materials, but that we put our hearts and souls into them so well when we perform them, and give them such life, that we have grown so attached to that and treat them as if they are truly alive.
