There's a skunk month?
First I find out (several days later) that there's a "National Underwear Day" (still don't know the date for it!), and now there's a skunk month?
Y'all furries really need to tell me these things! In the immortal words of Dr. Evil, "Throw me a frickin' bone here!"
(For real though I have no idea about this sort of stuff, is there some sort of master post somewhere that I can look at to know when there's stuff like this that I might be interested in?)

Yes! Look up "Skunktember" It's real! It's all about posting skunks and loving skunk furries and them stinking up other people and turning them into skunks! Why is everyone so stinky? Fuck if I know but I love it. Why? Because of skunks. That or I'm a god damn weirdo which is honestly probably the case but I don't have time to think, only stink <3

I meant, is there some sort of way to find out about all these different special months, weeks, and days? I'd love to know about them in advance. It's probably a bit late to start spamming skunks but about a quarter of my art involves skunks in some way or another regardless of the time of year.
Anyways, I just feel left out, or out of the loop, you know? Everybody *knows* this stuff, I've been on FA for just over a year, and nobody has ever informed me that there's a "Skunktember" or a "National Underwear Day" or when we do "Shark Week" lol. For some reason I know that August 8 is "Vore Day" but that's one of the things I have no interest in so it doesn't help me much lmao.

Actually. I honestly have no idea. In fact, I never heard of national underwear day. But I have heard of shark week. Sadly I never seen in action. I think someone just makes it up and we go along with it. Which means i'm just as clueless as you. the only reason I know of skunktember is because.... well... you know. I love skunkies and I am a skunkie. But if they are any other special days, I'll be sure to tell you <3
I definitely appreciate that! If you ever see one of those interesting theme days/weeks/months coming up, shoot me a note! I know June is Pride Month and that's about it tbh. Is the furry art Shark Week related to Discovery Channel's Shark Week at all? That might be an interesting thing to draw for actually, both with the existing shark designs I have and maybe as an excuse to design a couple more shark-like creatures.
Also "National Underwear Day"... I have several characters that exist solely for that! I think there's a "Butt Month" and a "Bear Week" too...
