With the first world war over, it was imperative for the empire to grow relations with the new nations of Europe. Despite some early diplomatic failures, the invasion of Poland by Soviet forces quickly created a situation where the small nation needed support. Mustering together a quick response, Akrilan sent multiple divisions of volunteers, along with several shipments of arms and munitions. Victory in the campaign would also see many new officers promoted, and much needed experience brought back to the empire about the new Soviet beast. Though it would not be until 1939 when Akrilan and Russia would face off against each other again.
