Back to being fully clothed, despite them hastily put on, Phillipe walked down the hallway and down the stairs. As he looked at the end, Mary was waiting, arms crossed as she looked at Phillipe directly. Needless to say, he felt really nervous after being caught.
Phillipe: Mrs. Miller, I can explain-
Mary immediately brought one of her hands out, indicating for Phillipe to stop speaking. When it became quiet again, Mary spoke up.
Mary: Phillipe. I don't want to ask this in front of their father so I want to hear it right now. When have you and my daughters been.........doing this?
Phillipe was choking up on his words, trying his best to even respond to Mary, the mother of the bunny girls he tried to have sex with.
Phillipe: We've........we've been doing this since.......3 weeks when I was first brought in. And..........it has been this way since.
Mary brought her hand to her forehead, squinting her eyes as she took this in.
Mary: I knew something like this would wind up happening. But to think it has been going on for several months and never noticed.
Phillipe: I'm.......I'm sorry Mrs. Miller.
Mary: To be honest, I would have half a mind to expose this to Daniel. And to think, after bringing you in and to do this with all of our daughters no less.
Phillipe could only gulp, nervousness getting the better of him.
Mary: However. You have been one of the hardest workers we've ever had in the farm. So, I may just let this part slide.
Hearing this made Phillipe began to calm down, but would be taken by surprise by Mary's sudden loud pitch.
Mary: But!
This made Phillipe stand up in attention once more.
Mary: But. If you want this to all brush under, there are two things you would have to things you need to do. One of them is helping me and my husband here and now with our current dilemma.
Phillipe: Sure. I'm willing to help in any way I can.
Mary: As for the second. It's more of a solemn promise. One that you will have to swear to me that you will abide and reach a decision upon down the line.
Phillipe could see the seriousness in her eyes, she wasn’t messing around.
Mary: I know you're all having fun now doing what you're doing. But if you truly feel any love and attraction to my daughters and not just lust for them, you will have to choose the one who you would want to be with and want to spend the rest of your days with. I don't want to come home to see my girls fighting each other over you and having you be their plaything. But if you feel what you’re doing is only just for lust and not true love, I suggest you better pack your things and never come back. You understand me?
Phillipe knew he was going to deal with this type of situation eventually, but never imagined he would be confronted by it this soon; the decision on who he would be in a relationship with. Even though he wanted to give it a long and hard thought about that, he knew now wasn't the time.
Phillipe: I understand what you're saying Mrs. Miller. But I think it's best I should be the one to tell them in the end about this.
Mary: Better you than me. They will understand it better coming from you about that. As for now, what I came to you for originally.
Mary walked down the hallway as Phillipe followed closely. This is when Mary made it into the living room, where they were greeted by the sight of Daniel Miller, sitting on a very large couch, holding his left leg in pain. Seeing this, Phillipe approached Daniel with a tone of concern and fear in his voice.
Phillipe: Mr. Miller! What happened?!
Daniel: Phillipe. Glad you could make it.
Daniel was still able to talk, but had a few spasms of pain hit him coming from his leg.
Daniel: Hate to say it. But I won't be making it to the banquet tonight. My leg is too messed up to walk on.
Phillipe: But how did this happen?
Daniel: You can blame me and my stubbornness. Tried to wear my old dress pants I always wore for these occasions. But they were a bit tight. Tried to make them fit. But lost my footing in the end. Hit the floor hard.
Phillipe: If you can't go to the banquet. Who will?
Daniel: That's easy my boy! You are!
Phillipe's eyes widened as he heard this. To hear that he was taking his boss' place for a big meeting was a big task. He only grew nervous as to what he would do there. But Phillipe was no stranger to banquet meetings or gatherings since he was always at one almost on a weekly basis in his previous life when he back home with his wealth and his family. However, he hasn't been to either one in 5 years ever since he was taken away from his World and brought to Daybreak Town. And to say that Phillipe would be rusty at this type of gathering was putting it mildly.
Phillipe: Me sir?! I mean, I am happy you chose me. But I don't know......
Daniel: Ah I see. A nervous willy at these kinds of things. Well, that's alright. You can bring one of my daughters to accompany ya. I'm sure they wouldn't mind being with you for this since they like ya a lot. But hopefully they don't fight over who will go. So, you better let them know as soon as you can. As for what to wear, I'm sure that outfit you had when we found ya back then would be perfect for this.
Phillipe: That's right my suit! Almost forgot about it.
Daniel: We had it cleaned up for ya. It's in the large wardrobe room my wife has that’s down the hall from here. And when it comes to who you’ll be taking, they can choose a dress from there as well.
Phillipe: I'll let them know now.
Mary: Then it’s settled. At the meantime, we'll be making our way to the hospital. We won't be back for quite some time.
Daniel: The car that's gonna pick ya up will be here in 2 hours. Make the time count!
Phillipe: Will do! I won't let you two down! Hope you recover soon, Mr. Miller.
Daniel: Take care, lad.
As Phillipe made his way back upstairs, Daniel and Mary left the home and headed to the hospital. Phillipe walked down the hallway, and knocked on all of the bedroom doors of the bunny girls, telling them all to meet him in his room. When they all saw the seriousness on Phillipe's face, they knew it wasn't for resuming their fun that was interrupted. All of them gathered inside of Phillipe's room, and this was when he had explained the entire situation about their parents, what had happened, and what was going on now.
Phillipe: So yeah. That's the situation now. I have to go and take your father's place, and one of you will have to accompany me to the banquet.
All of the bunny girls looked and began to talk amongst one another, that was when one of the girls named Margaret stood and spoke up.
Margaret: Okay. We get one of us will be going. But who are you going to pick?
Phillipe could only scratch the back of his head, knowing that his solution was a ridiculous one.
Phillipe: To be honest, I didn't know if you girls would either decide amongst yourselves, or if you would do rock, paper, scissors to see who would go.
Hearing about the rock, paper, scissors options made the bunny girls giggle at that being a choice. Not that it wouldn't be a good option, but they weren't kids anymore.
Phillipe: Yeah. Thought that may have been silly.
Margaret: Well don't you fret about this. We may know a way on how to settle this. But we do ask. Can you give us some privacy?
Phillipe: Oh. Umm. Sure. I'll just be out at the hall if you need me.
Phillipe walked out of the room, leaving the bunny girls to talk amongst themselves. That was when Bela stood off of the bed to catch her sisters’ attention.
Bela: Okay everyone. I know this may be a hard decision for all of us when it comes to being with Phillipe, but I think it's best we-
Margaret: Bela. Before you say anything further, there's something you should know.
Bela: What's that?
Margaret: When Phillipe first started talking about one of us going, we all looked at each other, and we all feel that it would be best that you go with him.
Bela was at a loss for words. To hear her sisters say that she should go made her flabbergasted, but for reasons unknown to her, her Heart felt like doing somersaults inside her chest. All the while, she stuttered and spoke quickly that her words were almost not caught.
Bela: Wh-wh-wh-what?! Me?! I-I mean I wouldn't mind but how come all of you are saying I should go?
Bela's cheeks began to turn red, fidgeting her fingers Wondering how it came to this.
Margaret: Well, sis. First off, after seeing how you have been since Phillipe came here and how you have been taking a certain leading role, we can see you care about him more than just some one-night stand like us. Seriously, you do actually have feelings for him and you don't realize that.
Bela: That doesn't mean I have a crush or love him or anything. I mean yeah, I organize everything but all of us are always in that "session".
Margaret: Maybe true. But for us, we don't really feel any kind of love that you seem to. We're only in it for the sex sorry to say. But not you. And we've noticed. It's pretty hard for you to try and hide it.
Bela: But.......what about Phillipe himself. What if he doesn't feel the same? What if I don't actually feel more for him?
Seeing her doubting what she was feeling, Margaret got off the bed, and placed a hand on her sister's shoulder.
Margaret: Tell you what. Go with him tonight and see how you feel when it's just the two of you together. If you feel that you are only in it for just the sex, then that's it. But if you truly feel more than that, then see where it takes you. Sometimes you have to go for it.
Margaret smiled at Bela, as she could do nothing but smile back. It was then the other sisters began to cheer Bela on, giving her shouts of encouragement "You can do it!" "All for love!" "Look your best for him!". To see and hear all of this in front of her, Bela looked at Margaret, and smiled. She then left Phillipe's room, only to find him at the end of the hall near the stairs. As Bela approached him, Phillipe looked to see it was Bela, and when their eyes made contact, he smiled at her, while Bela did the same back but felt her Heart skip a beat.
Phillipe: So, in the end it's you Bela. I'm really happy you can attend this with me.
Bela: Yeah. I came out on top in the end. But, I am glad to attend the banquet with you tonight. And thanks for helping out my daddy with this. It must mean a lot to him to have you fill in for him.
Phillipe: Yeah. I was shocked myself when he asked me. But we better get ourselves ready. Your mom told me she has a wardrobe room downstairs. There may be a dress you can wear for tonight. She even told me that's where my suit is.
Bela: I know my mom had that room but never saw her outfits. Hope they can fit me.
Phillipe: Guess we shall see.
Phillipe and Bela made it down the stairs and approached the wardrobe room. As they were both walking, Bela smiled gleefully, while Phillipe questioned what he was feeling in his chest.
'Man. Why am I feeling so strange? I never felt like this before in front of the girls. But this time, it's just me and Bela. Alone. Together. But.......Is this feeling is what Mrs. Miller was talking about?'
Phillipe was brought out of his thoughts when the two of them were at the front of the wardrobe room, which was a set of double doors.
Phillipe: Wow. Double doors for a room full of clothes?
Bela: And you obviously don't know how much fashion wear women like us have. And trust me, when it comes to my mom from what I have heard, she really goes all out.
Bela reached out and opened the doors, and what was revealed to them shocked Phillipe, as Bela looked on with a smirk. The Wardrobe room Mrs. Miller had was twice the size of either Phillipe's room or any of the room of the Bunny girls. The room didn't look anything like a closet or a normal Wardrobe room, but more of a showroom for fashion dresses or a dressing room for a runway show, with red curtains instead of doors leading to the changing areas.
Phillipe: Wow. This is just massive.
Bela: As I said. My mom goes all out for stuff like this.
Phillipe: No kidding. It's just incredible to see this. But does make me wonder where your mom left my suit.
Bela: I'm sure it's somewhere. But right now, I'm gonna check out the dresses.
As Phillipe began to look around, Bela entered one of the Changing areas, but before closing it, she looked to Phillipe one last time.
Bela: And Phillipe. No peeking.
Bela have off a wink, making him blush as he turned away. But as Bela closed the curtain, she started to look at her mom's wardrobe, seeing the area of dresses. Just as she was looking and seeing which dress to pick, her thoughts began to wander.
'Why did that tease feel different just now? I did it many times before, but why does doing it now when it's just us feel so different? Could.....could Margaret be right? No, it can't be. It's too soon to be sure. The night hasn't even started yet.’
Shaking her head, Bela did her best to focus, and continued her search.
Meanwhile, back with Phillipe.
Phillipe searched around the drawers and coat hangers for the suit he had when he found himself in this World, but as he was looking, he couldn't stop thinking back to the moment Bela winked and teased him.
'Why did that feel so..... different? She's done that many times before but this time it feels so much more tempting to do. I can't just decide right now. What about Bela's other sisters? They haven't had a chance yet themselves.'
Phillipe continued to think to himself, until he opened a drawer that contained his suit and his custom top hat. His hat was fairly unusual, being smaller than it can for on his head, as it had a red line near the rim along with a pair of jungle bells attached, with a red triangular pattern sticking out from the bottom. But what stood out besides the hat was his suit. Phillipe's suit was very unique and very unusual, with a colour pattern of red, white, and blue being the main colours for the top part, along with the suit being an open style type that showed off the entire front of the white dress shirt, making it show that it was like an open jacket. But below the waistline, the suit had a pair of black pants, and sported booted that were the same colour pattern as the jacket. To say that Phillipe's outfit stood out from the others was a complete understatement.
Phillipe: Alright! Found it! Now all that's left to do is wait.
Phillipe didn't have to wait long for Bela. After less than a minute after finding his suit, the red curtain moved to the sides as she walked out, wearing a long and strapless black dress. But what stood out for the dress, was the golden bunny insignia that was to the left of the dress.
Bela: I picked out the dress I wanted. How do I look?
Phillipe looked at Bela, and it was then he almost choked a little on the air he was breathing. In front of him was Bela, and he saw her wearing a black, strapless dress that was red on the inside, which also showed off a lot of her cleavage, and seeing the dress hugging her curves beautifully along with showing off a good look at her left leg was a completely stunning and astonishing sight to see. To Phillipe, Bela looked drop dead gorgeous.
