The ghostly image simply stared into her eyes with a silent and heavy gaze that told of many things that weighed upon her soul. Unlike her glassy image she would never be cleansed by the rain, but it was still a comfort to know that the reflection would soon be washed away.
Something I started yesterday but was too tired to continue.
It was originally a totally different idea involving how Lily sees herself in the mirror, but I scrapped it but still wanted to draw her turned away from the viewer somehow. It's been raining non-stop for a few days now which was why I decided to have her observing the grey landscape.

Aww thank you. I was sorta low when I did this, thinking about being cleansed and given a new clean slate to work with. If only we had that chance hmm?? I sometimes think back to things I regret, and wonder how I made those mistakes. I can't change them, but they'll always impact upon my future. I guess everyone feels that way at some point in their lives, in varying amounts. I just tend to dwell a lot. I do love walking in the rain, it's quite nice to feel the droplets on your skin, sort of comforting. I like the rain a lot, mostly because it clears the streets of people XD!
