I got told he looked really skinny. Well, yeah. Duh. His name is Speed for a reason.
Anyway, the coloring looks better IRL, as usual. But it's better than I expected. And the background is like.. happy graffiti puke.
DO NOT BUM ME OUT I LOVE HOW HE LOOKS. Thank you.

Cyuuuute. I like it. z: )
...and dude, a point often forgotten by anthro artists; Foxes ARE naturally lithe and skinny. Most of the bulk is thick fur. z: )
To be honest, that's one of the things which attracts me to your artwork. Charming, accurate Foxes. Your style is good all 'round but it was the vulpine elements which initially attracted me.
Anyways, phet-freak vulpines are cool as well. z: )

That last line sounded really biased and kinda specieist o.o... I must retaliate! *parades around with a " 'Possum for t3h win" sign* ... Opossums are smarter, anyway (:
.. Oh wait.. Picture... Y'know... Before I typed the former I had something in mind.. but now I forgot x.x

But, mind your statements. For stating a fox is superior to all other beings is as egotistic a statement as Hitler stating Germans were the superspecies. Both are ideas formed from opinion, not scientific fact. Remember, for you yourself are human, thus you state youself as inferior to something which you may not become - a fact which holds true for myself as well, mind you. A fox is not necessarily superior because it is your favourite animal. I wouldn't go stating to the masses foxes are superior if I were in your position with your opinion. It is the same thing that Hitler did - stating his own race as the superior race.
I'll end this conversation here on my part because I do not wish to bug Speed any further by continuing to spam his image with this pointless thread. I apologize for the current thread I instigated here, Speed.

...and I think you take my line of declaration just a little too seriously. I worry that what started out in good IC humour stung a sensitive spot of yours if you feel you've been provoked into a response like this. So, sorry if I have but... word of advice, it's best not to bring up Hitler and the Nazis so casually. That issue is far too contentious... and probably rightly so as well.
No, I believe Hitler is a very appropriate choice for comparing to one who proclaims their opinion for the superspecies as fact - even as humour. Also, I think you should not be so quick to denote me as the one who took a bit of humour too seriously. Perhaps you should have paid a bit of attention to your response to that post. Then when I corrected your mistake you again responded. I did not keep this going alone - you helped perpetuate it further, you know.
Oh dear. I fear this is heading into last-word-ism.
Listen, when I post on such a topic, I more like as not post a somewhat IC response as only a smug vulpine can. It's for fun and amusement. It's not a political statement.
I beleive you were the one who took things too far when you brought up Nazism. I heard of a newsgroup or forum or something along those lines which had a rule: If someone bring up Hitler or the Nazis in an argument, they automatically lose the argument and the discussion is over. Why? Because they had to rely on icons and the strong adverse reactions they cause rather than a purely intellectual argument. Whilst a little example for effect should be permissable, referring to extremes at the drop of a hat quickly becomes tacky and farcical. I think that rule was a good idea.
Unlike this conversation. It's quite sad that it's degenerated into this. I was having fun with it before and I thought, mistakenly it seems, that you were too. Oh well.

It's not so much as to get the last word as it is to explain my actions and not have people think of me as one to make a mountain out of a molehill
Well, Hitler, no matter how adverse an effect his name creates, was still a man of history who sold the idea of his own race as a superspecies. I don't refer to him casually - I refer to him to make a point because he DID have such a strong influence on history.
And as far as fun: My first reply was for naught but jest. You replied with an incorrect statement which I repsonded with a correction - not intended as insult, mind you. Your response to that was:
"So they tell me now.
Not that it matters. *grins.*"
A statement that, to me, sounded very taunting and sarcastic. Perhaps it was a mistake on my part, but also bear in mind that you should maybe be a little more careful with your wording.

As it stands right now, though I wont have it said that the blame is entirely mine, I've already apologised for any potential offense I may have caused. I do so again, because frankly, this sort of discussion isn't particularly worth either of our time.
I'll make a deal. I'll try to be less sarcastic and dismissive sounding (even though it was only IC, OOC I would never say such a thing,) and make more of an effort to demonstrate that what I'm saying isn't serious if you try to avoid referring to such an extreme example quite as soon as you did. As I said before, I can see your point, but I beleive that it was none-the-less excessive over such a trifle as this. Lines may have to be drawn in some places, but not over someone who is effectively saying, "Foxes are better than everyone," with a big, "LOLOLOL :) ^.^," on the end.

I was not putting the blame entirely on you; I do hope my last post did not come off sounding that way. I take the blame for starting this arguement and perpetuating it.
The proposal is valid. I accept - both proposal and apology (I was a bit "in the moment" as it were to remember to accept your apology in the first place, though you had no need to - this was mostly my fault. The only thing you did was state your innocence).
Reguarding my end of the deal: Such a thing could have been, and more than likely was offensive to some. I would like to apologize for being so quick to make a statement questioning your morality and intentions, and for wasting your and my time on such a petty thing, and to anyone whom I may have offended. I'd also like ot Apologize to Speed once more for this. I didn't think my actions would lead to a thread which spammed one of his images.. I barely thought about my actions at all for that matter. Sorry.
