I made a stupid meme for a Facebook group. People liked it, more than I expected. What I never would have expected is that someone decided to steal the video and post it, not only on their own Twitter page, but the Twitter page of an Audio Drama production company. Both without credit.
To have work stolen from me and being sold on eBay is one thing. To have even something made for fun stolen from me without credit from a huge, award-winning company is another thing.
I'm honestly questioning why I even bother creating things for myself if this is what happens. Not even dumb stupid memes is enough for someone not to take it and not bother to credit the one who made it. Who put the work into it. They can credit the ones who make fan-art, why not credit the ones who make small dumb jokes?
Didn't need this during this year. This already extremely tough year.
Don't, I repeat, don't even bother trying to ask them to change it. I've already messaged them and I am waiting for a reply.
