The Sentinel Academy is the primary training ground for the esteemed Sentinel organization. Serving as both a local sector barracks for active duty Sentinels as well as where many of them start their journey, it's a state of the art facility located on the colony of Freedman IV in the Island Republic of Libertalia. Specifically on the island of New Aria. Its location places it outside of the jurisdiction of any major galactic power, offering the Sentinels plenty of freedom in how they operate, though also leaving them isolated. Fortunately, in the event that anyone holding a grudge does opt to attack, the academy is host to a strong array of anti air defenses and its hangars contain a veritable fleet of strikecraft with trained pilots. In the event that even that is not enough, Libertalia stands ready to help defend the academy against any aggressors.
The academy is also host to its own spaceport, medical and training facilities, R&D labs, and high speed communication relays, making it one of the most well equipped sites in the sector.
