Beach Assignment Artemessa

Nathan fidgeted as he stood in the shadow of the lighthouse. He had never been much of a social Pokemon, being an Absol and not always welcome due to their 'Harbinger of Disaster' stigma left his social life almost nonexistent. It was one of the reasons he worked as the servitor of the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemessa. Masked as she was, she only ventured out out of her valley to perform her duties as a warrior. Both of them were quite happy to avoid the crowded places; like the beach he was a short walk (or a few steps for a macro) away from.
But, as he'd spent more time with her, she'd been growing more bold. Her mask wasn't always on, and she wasn't always silent. This was meant to be the culmination of that growing boldness, for both of them; A beach trip, where they would both be out in the open and she wouldn't be wearing her mask. However, while he hadn't expected to find her there first, he was getting antsy that she hadn't shown up in the last ten minutes.
He was just about to call it and assume she had lost her nerve, when he heard the thumping that could only come from a giant's footsteps. “Baah; sorry I'm late. I had to make a stop to pick something up.”
Nathan looked up then nearly fell on his back at the sight he was treated to.
Artemessa smirked as she stepped around the lighthouse. Even more so when she bent over for what just HAD to be a purposeful tease for her servant. The bikini she was in covered even less than her armor, and the purple accented her pure white skin very nicely. Especially when it almost disappeared between her rump cheeks.
“Like it?” The look on her face showed she knew it was a rhetorical question. “I had to ask Verta to make it for me, it didn't feel right to wear my armor to the beach.”
“Buh...” Nathan said, just staring at the rump being illuminated by the beacon's glow.
Artemessa chuckled. “I thought I was supposed to be the sheep, Pervy Sol~”
Nathan the Absol nmr accommodates the warrior he serves, Artemessa the Flaaffy, for some time at the beach like May Sa the Mightyena and Val Sky’za the Sky Form Shaymin have before. It would seem the fairly reclusive Flaaffy is starting to open up more to be in the public eye after meeting her perverted servant. =w=
Arg, this pose and scene works so well. Very happy Saint asked me to finish this the way it was. @.@ This was also pretty encouraging as a digital piece due to its simplicity to get a good feel of the shading process.
This picture also utilized a difference trick in making the solid flat colors prior to shading. I vectored the lighthouse in Adobe Illustrator CS5 and imported it on to the picture and used paint bucket to fill it in.
I have since acquired other tools to use and probably won’t do that again.
Done as a sketch on paper, scanned in, and painting in Photoshop CS5.
