Disclaimer; The plate was not made by me, I go to a pottery painting place to paint all my ceramics!
It was a labor of love taking me 5 hours to paint [and learning a lot along the way!]
I'm used to doing really thin painting layers so i have to work on actually putting more on there <3!
This plate sold for $300 to help out pet rescue and i'm so happy to have been able to help out like that <3

This is really nice. It took me a second to realize that this was a painted plate. At first it look to me as if the entire photo was a painting.
Also I'm curious, was this done with the intention of it being used as a plate, or just as an art piece? I've got a relative who has a number of painted plates hanging in her living room, and I always found it a little strange.
