A shame really what this place looks like. Just two decades ago (1989) it was intact, even guarded.
I remember seeing pictures back in 1995, dark, leaking and dusty, but still unstripped and with largely intact windows. The guard had just been removed. There was still hope for the building then . . . . .
I doubt it'll ever get reused, either it'll get torn down or fall on it's own.
The Book-Cadillac is the exception in Detroit, MCS is the norm.
It's rather depressing.

It is, yeah. Interestingly enough, on my last visit, there was no guard. This time around, there was, and it looked like they'd set up a temporary security office *inside* the station main entrance. He was sitting outside the front doors (or what's left of them) just chillin'.
