it’s 2021 and no one seems to know how to write fanboy/“yandere” romance concepts that don’t suck ass or romanticize abuse so here’s my take on it.
Sunny (the monkey) and Xevra (the pig) are unofficially dating/friends with benefits that exist in the same universe as my other indulgent furry OCs, living as neighbors in the same apartment building and both working at the furry equivalent of Hot Topic nearby.
Sunny is a wildcard and tries way too hard to seem edgy and intimidating, though he often just comes off as really goofy, and is HEAD over heels for Xevra, a metalhead who could kick your ass with ease but is a lot more lowkey and calm and doesn’t care about impressing anyone. She finds Sunny cute, but keeps him on a tight leash so he doesn’t act so embarrassing. Luckily, he loves this side of her so it evens out. ❤️
(basically i realized these types of romances are done best when the crazed one is dominated and not overstepping control)
