Yay, I think I've figured out how to focus my infrared camera!
I kind of gave up on it a while back, it was too frustrating. Tonight I finally sat down with a tailor's tape and measured out where it was really focusing as opposed to where it thought it was focusing, and made a couple paint dots on the lens barrel. It's not perfect, but in a pinch, with a narrow aperture, and the time to manually adjust every shot, I kind of can make it work now.
So then what next? It was night. The moon was playing behind the clouds. I have to say, the effects that came out from a cloudy night sky in infrared astounded me. I had no idea. Methinks I just found a new toy... :)
