After smashing the Rabble in 5, clinging to survival against the Howlers in 7, then take advantage of a crippled Thrust to win in 6, the Dakota Bikers made their way to the 2010 FBA Finals to face the Plymouth Taproots.
After losing their first game in the East, the Bikers showed the same dominance on the court they had all season. They didn't lose another game after that, sweeping the 'Roots in the next 4 games, taking the series-- and the trophy-- in 5.

o-kemono did a wonderful job with these characters. Considering how little information I had available to give her, she did just a fantastic job fleshing them out. Everyone's got personality in this pic.

It's interesting that you bring this up, E-Cat. I think that if the FBA had not developed the way it did, I would have had the Thrust win the trophy. Clearly, last season's finals I just dreamed up-- there were no rules or outside input or anything beyond my imagination. But since the FBA turned into what it is with so many furries contributing players and teams, I felt a real obligation to come up with a fair system to determine which teams won games. It didn't seem fair to me to have so many creative people contribute to the league just to have me decide on my own who would win.
So, I created a die-roll system for determining scores and victories. And this time-- the dice did not let the Thrust take home the prize. I'm bummed, of course-- but only for as long as it takes me to realize just how spectacular the FBA has become.
