Class: Alchemiangues
Order: Immetalliformes
Family: Guivridae
Genus: Guivrus
Species: Guivrus sulfuris
Subspecies: Guivrus sulfuris niger
Гивр серы черной
Guivre of black sulphur
The structure of these guivres is close to the structure of the guivres of vulgar sulphur, the only difference is that the guivres of black sulphur have ornaments in the form of curved horns. It is not yet known whether this is a common feature, or whether such ornaments are characteristic only of the Kamchatka population.
Granum seminis is the same as guivres of vulgar sulphur have — transparent and yellowish.
An extremely rare subspecies, they share the territory with guivres of vulgar sulphur, but they prefer to settle closer to the mouth of volcanoes.
A thick black substance, similar in properties to the "oleum" of guivres of vulgar sulphur, but more alchemically active, covers the entire body of the dragon and is actively excreted from the mouth and at the base of the thorns. It quickly decomposes in air into an oily liquid phase and a brown, almost inert precipitate.
These dragons have no economic value.
