Today I lost one of my oldest friends in the fandom. He's been a customer of mine since 2009 and he considered me part of his furry family. I was told Friday that he was in the hospital and the outlook was not good. His condition deteriorated over the weekend and he passed away today.
I was told that if I was able to draw something for him, it would be sent with him after his passing; though, when I initially drew it on Friday, I was hoping that he would be able to pull through so he could see it.
I'm honestly really not good with words. I ramble a lot and I'm not sure if I'm able to really convey how I feel right now. I'm very sad because I have known him for so, so long and to lose someone that I've known for that long is incredibly heart breaking. I just really hope he's in a better place.

Take all the time in the world with your rambles about grief, since is not an easy stuff to do, specially with someone you knew for so long. Feel free to feel sad, angry or anything to heal a little bit and do not let someone tells you to "get over it". Here we are for you if you need to rant or cry for Ghost.

I'm so sorry. I knew him for a while, too but we stopped hanging, I don't even know what the last thing I said to him was.
Those characters of his helped me get through some of my emotional pits as do most fatfurs do with their cuteness and huggability, his especially.
But I hope that his characters find a good home.

As a trucker who would spend hours talking to ghost. Listening to his stories, his people he would talk too. Everything he had done, who he was. And most of all that funny laugh of his. I can hear it now and just see the smile on his face seeing all the love and care he is getting from all of this. But most of all. Remember Ghost was happy to see that people where happy.
