This year has been devastating. I lost my dog in June. Close friends have lost their pets as well in the past few months (seems like one every few weeks ffs). And the place where I work just put the resident cat to sleep, and it opened up that wound all over again.

Pet loss is loss. Grief is grief. Some people get over loosing a pet quickly, some never recover. I cried the entire time drawing this (the first thing I've drawn and finished since my dog died). Art hasn't come easy since loosing her, so I'm glad I pushed through and got this done.

I hope they find each other in the here-after. They had a unique relationship... RIP Damian. Please don't pick on Taffy too much, ok? She gets scared when you swat her in the face like you do...
