"Epic Mickey" is a game that's caught my interest so i decided to do some fanart. Hes off model in a few spots but this was fun to draw. Doing the paint and the ink look was fun to draw and color. so yeah im pretty happy with it

What upsets me about Epic Mickey right now is how the Scrapper look had to be changed. Apparently, "hardcore Mickey fans" (or as I like to call them, idiotic and pissed off parents) were upset about Mickey's old Scrapper look, and the developers at Junction Point had to change it. Now, all we''l get is a blurred face. I know I shouldn't be this upset about a minor change that won't change the gameplay, but (if you'll excuse the vulgarity) come the fuck on. The old Scrapper look gave Epic Mickey a charm that made me say, "I want to play this." I still hope the game is good, but seriously, why can't developers just be free to explore parts of well-established characters without getting so much backlash? *sigh* Another reason to add to my mental book of why I despise humanity, in general.

No no no, your mistaken. Apparently the idea of scrapper mickey had been scrapped (no pun intended) by Warren Spector himself as he stated himself that he thought himself that it'll change people's perception of the character.

I find that odd, because, compared to the pure-hearted and kind of flat character mascot we have today, the original Mickey was...kind of a jerk. He slacked off at work, laughed at his girlfriend's misfortunes, and abused animals in ways that would be impossibly cruel if they weren't downright impossible...such is the joy of the old-timey cartoons, but still, who the hell hammers a cow's teeth like it's a xylophone?
Well, color me red and call me stupid. Thank you for clearing that up (my outlook on humanity has raised by .01%). I still find it odd that Spector decided to change his Scrapper look. I guess I can't really argue with the man and his choices, since he shows to have more knowledge on Disney than the creator of Kingdom Hearts.
I so totally cannot wait for this game!! I can't believe people are bitching over how much this game has been toned down atleast we'll see Mickey again.
Plus I think that you did great with Mickey's design and smudgy look. I think the pose is very well done too and Mickey looks shiny too. It resembles your old-style Mickey that you did back then.
